This is the first street lamp lighting project in China that combines solar power and semiconductor lighting with practical lighting functions. The project consists of 41 solar LED street lights and 39 lawn lights. The solar LED street light is 4.1 meters high. The street light source consists of 120 super bright white LEDs arranged in a certain shape and welded on the circuit board. The total power is 6.5 watts. According to the sunshine distribution in Zhuhai, two 15-watt polycrystalline silicon solar cells are symmetrically arranged, a 12-volt 34-ampere maintenance-free lead-acid battery and a charge-discharge controller with a maximum current of 6 amperes. The brightness of the street light source is equivalent to a 25-watt incandescent lamp, which can keep working for 5 consecutive rainy days
