1. Wind-resistant design of solar cell module bracket

According to the calculation of the technical reference materials related to the battery module, the solar battery module can withstand a strong headwind pressure of about 2700Pa. If the wind resistance system is positioned at 27m/s (equivalent to a tenth-level typhoon), according to non-viscous fluid mechanics, the wind pressure that the battery module can withstand is only 365Pa, so it seems that the battery module itself can withstand the wind speed of 27m/s without damage. . Therefore, the key consideration in the design is the connection between the battery pack holder and the lamp post.

2. Light pole wind resistance design

We first know some design parameters of solar street lights. For example, the inclination of the panel is usually 16°, and the height of the light pole is 5m. The width of the welding seam at the bottom of the light pole is 4mm, and the outer diameter of the light pole is 168mm. The lamp pole is on the surface of the weld, that is, the failure surface of the lamp pole. The distance from the calculation point P of the resistance moment W of the failure surface of the lamp pole to the action line of the panel load F borne by the lamp pole is PQ=[5000+(168+6)/tan16o]×Sin16o = 1545 mm = 1.545 meters. Therefore, the wind load moment M=F×1.545 on the failure surface of the light pole.

Generally speaking, if the design is based on the maximum allowable wind speed of 27m/s, the basic load of the 2×30W dual-lamp solar street light panel is 730N. Considering a safety factor of 1.3, F = 1.3 × 730 = 949N. The width of the welded seam selected by the design meets the requirements. As long as the welding quality can be guaranteed, the wind resistance of the light pole is no problem.
