Researchers at Disney Research and ETH Zurich connect smart LED lights and the Internet of Things to create a visible light system that can track the location of the device indoors. The researchers also showed that the system can be used to estimate the location of the device indoors. Since the adjacent bulbs can be synchronized, the number of data collisions is reduced, making the connection more stable.
