The reporter saw in the west side of the Longzhu Water Purification Plant that the traffic on the road during the daytime kept flowing, and a black bilateral solar installation was added to the 8-meter-high single-armed streetlight on the side of the road, as if an eagle was trying to spread its wings. A lot of passers-by looked up and looked at the street lamp also solved the problem of night lighting that the Longzhu water purification plant had not been laid after the completion of the water purification plant, which has always troubled the nearby people.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of Urban Management Bureau, in order to respond to the country's call for energy-saving emission reduction and green lighting, Shantou City decided to pilot the use of high-power LED street lights prior to promotion. According to the deployment, it is planned to use solar LED street lamps in the trials of the three roads around the Pearl Water Purification Plant. The construction includes the installation of 8 meters of 72-watt solar LED street light 136. All of the power supply will rely on solar energy and no longer be laid for cables.

It is understood that this section of solar LED street light operating principle is to convert solar energy into battery power, without additional power supply, to achieve 100% zero electricity, rainy days can be designed to work continuously for 5 to 7 days. At present, the 74-pole solar LED street light on the west side of the Pearl River Water Purification Plant has been installed and turned on, and the lighting effects after debugging have basically reached the expected design requirements. The Northern side road and Haidi Road 62 street light are expected to be completed in early December.
