According to Ye Jingtu, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province, as of 2012, Guangdong Province has promoted the use of LED street lamps for nearly 800,000 baht. It is expected that more than 1.1 million new LED street lamps will be installed in 2013, which will set off a new round of promotion and application boom.

It is predicted that LED outdoor lighting will become the fastest growing segment of LED lighting in the next three years. In 2015, the outdoor LED market in China will be close to 15 billion yuan.
