Cree announces that its white LED light efficiency exceeds 231lm/W

Cree said that a single module component was used, and the white LED efficacy was measured at 231 lm/W at a color temperature of 4500 K and a standard test chamber temperature of 350 mA. This innovative technology can be applied to Cree XLamp white LEDs and its light efficiency is enhanced. Cree believes that high-performance LEDs can drive LEDs in new applications and reduce LED solution design costs.

In 2010, Cree's white LED light efficiency exceeded 200lm/W, which was considered to be the highest light efficiency in the field of LED lighting, and has now reached 231lm/W.
