Cree announces that its high-power LED light efficiency exceeds 186lm/W

LED lighting manufacturer Cree announced that its white light high-power LED light efficiency has achieved 186 lm / W, this light effect is the highest level in the industry's research and development results report.

This result shows that Cree continues to improve the performance of its LEDs. Cree's test results show that when the correlated color temperature is 4577K, the LED can produce 197lm light output, achieving 186lm/W light efficiency. The test was performed on LEDs in a standard test environment with a drive current of 350 mA at room temperature.

Although this level of performance LEDs are currently not in volume production at Cree, Cree will continue to supply the widest range of 100+ lumens LEDs in the industry.
